This is the website of SharpPlum Design, a design house specialising in providing small to medium sized organisations with a complete range of quality internet design services.
This website is offering bespoke website design, modern logo design, branded artwork for use as desktop wallpaper, web-ad design, microsite design, e-Commerce packages & also a sheltered hosting service for clients only.
Website Functions.
The SharpPlum website contains three main sections. The first is the design services including the pricing, the second section contains the samples for the design services & the third section contains the help & assistance pages for the design services & use of the website.
All pages on this website can be accessed from links placed within the content of other pages.
For keyboard users, all of the main sections can be accessed directly using the Accesskeys provided.
Website Layout.
The main layout design used in this website is a single page in the centre of the browser window. The background is a gradient of light grey to dark grey.
The top left of each page is reserved for the SharpPlum logo which features the standard link to the home page.
For the majority of the website, each single page is split into two sections separated by a horizontal bar.
The top part contains the graphical navigation, the lower section has the content for the individual page ending in a second horizontal bar featuring a relevant link to another page.
The "skip navigation" accessibility feature will bypass the entire top section.
Beneath this page format is a footer section containing a consistent set of links to the main areas of the website.
Each link in this section features an accesskey, either listed immediately before the link or as a highlighted letter within the name of the link.
