Access keys allow those visitors using the keyboard instead of a mouse to view pages by holding down the accesskey & pressing one other key.
On Windows the accesskey is the "ALT" key.
On the Mac the accesskey is the "CTRL" key.
For instance holding down the accesskey ("ALT" or "CTRL") & pressing the number 3 (three) will go to the sitemap page. Some Internet Explorer users may also need to press enter afterwards.
Accesskeys have been selected to cause minimum disruption with screen reading software.
The accesskey for a link is shown in purple & underlined.
For instance the combination for the Website Design page is Accesskey - S.
